Set the scope to a folder and ask a question about everything in it.
The assistant reads that folder and what is under it, and nothing else.
Speed and accuracy. A question about one client, one project or one month is answered better by the twenty notes that are about it than by four thousand that are not.
If the folder has a current context file, the assistant starts from a description of what is in there rather than working it out from scratch. See Folder context.
If the folder is marked as behind or missing, regenerate it first — it is one action, and it makes every later question about that folder better.
Ask for the answer as a file and it is written into the vault as Word, Excel, PDF or Markdown. Useful for the things you would otherwise copy out by hand: summaries, status reports, a table of what happened this month.
