Rich mode, raw mode, and moving between them without thinking about it.
Open a note and type. Rich mode formats as you go; the file underneath stays Markdown.
Standard Markdown works as you type it — # for a heading, - for a list,
backticks for code. You can also use the usual shortcuts (⌘B,
⌘I) and let the editor write the syntax.
Type [[ and choose a note. Or select some text and press ⌘K /
Ctrl+K — with a selection active, the command palette turns it into a
link instead of opening.
Pasted URLs and Markdown are detected and converted. When you want the clipboard exactly as it is, use ⌘⇧V / Ctrl+Shift+V.
Raw mode shows the file. Use it for frontmatter you would rather type than fill in, for repairing odd Markdown, and for any change where you want to see the characters.
⌘F / Ctrl+F searches the open note. To find a note rather than a passage, use the command palette.
It saves itself a moment after you stop typing. ⌘S forces it now. Every write is kept in history.
